THe belt worked fine for about 12 hrs ....then I caught a hint of burning rubber ....I shut down my PTO for the deck, let things cool down and then did a physical hand and visual check of both deck belts ...saw and felt nothing out of line. Started the mower, engaged the PTO and about 30 minutes later, the belt broke/ripped etc. I have decided it was probably not the fault of the belt but probably multiple deck pully wear that has caused "belt slop" as I call it, thus it caused a continuous abrasion against a deck bracket that I did not earlier discern. I will address all deck pully devises for wear, including any tensioning apparatus for review/replacement accordingly. Since this was a replacement of a previous non-aramid belt, the original belt I had (unknown years-before I bought his mower used) had probably reached its wear/tear etc. limits which is why I bought a new one. After I review all deck apparatus, I will re-purchase your Arammid belt in that I felt good about its installation/operation for as long as it did amid the since discovered deck wear and tear issues your belt put up with to last as long as it did. Smiles~~~
