I received two aa double v belts ( I ordered two to have a backup for future use) exactly as ordered. They however were not the correct belts for my application. My research was faulty because the mower deck on my Simplicity Sunstar was not the correct deck for the year/model of the mower. The mower deck did not have a model/serial number to properly identify it. Simplicity Sunstar tractor mowers had three separate 60 inch decks over their production years. The belts I ordered were too long. I contacted you with that information and you quickly responded with a suggestion to help me. The Simplicity part number belt I needed is not available at the length I needed through your company. I decided to modify the mower deck to accommodate the original belts I received from you. I added a larger diameter spring loaded idler pulley, shortened the spring 1/2 inch and installed a 4 1/2 inch v stationary idler pulley. That combination worked very well with enough tension to allow for some slippage at clutch engagement but still enough to prevent slippage in denser grass.
