I have a 2 plus acre lawn. I have mowed it 6 times and the belt broke. The belt looked in good shape otherwise. I think I am glad that I bought two because I put the spare belt on and I’m back in business. I inspected pulleys and had a new spring tension idler and clutch drive pulley. I mow routinely and do not abuse my equipment. I found the price was very good and expected the belt to last longer. The belt broke and there was one spot that looked Damaged. Wondering if it was defective.
Appears to be a good quality belt. I needed one ASAP after snapping the deck belt on my Exmark Lazer Z HP when I hit a prized bull lead rope first then a Fiskars leaf rake that were hidden in sage grass that was 3 ft tall due to the property being foreclosed on a couple of years ago. I paid 3X the price for an aftermarket one locally so I could finish that particular job that same day. When I got home and had more time I found this one online and after seeing the total cost I knew I had to order one for the next time something takes that belt out and I have no time to waste. V-Belt Guys good reviews I read pretty much sealed the deal. The belt was in the mailbox 3 days later with free shipping so that's a fantastic deal as far as I'm concerned. I definitely know who to check with the next time!
Nothing bad about the sale it’s the product that was horrible!! I don’t know if anyone else has had issues but the belt didn’t last a week. Didn’t have time to call the vendor. “ You get what you pay for”!!
