Received belt on 7-20-23. Belt worked great! Then, on 8-2-23, while mowing my lawn, I smelled a slight burning. I perceived it was the belt. I should have stopped and inspected, but did not. In a very short space of time, belt came off. There was damage to the belt. Upon inspection, I discovered the damage was caused by my own carelessness. I had used a short thin rope to temporarily secure a piece of plastic over my gas tank cap (someone had stolen my gas cap). I forget to completely remove the rope when I placed the new cap. Rope worked its way and entangled into the pulley. You know 'the rest of the story'.
