I'm in the process of restoring a 1979 Hurst Olds. The car has been sitting for 30 years. I believe the original hoses and belts were still on the car. But in Arizona, rubber and plastic doesn't last 40 years.
The belts I got I used the original Goodyear part number somewhat still visible on the belt and used a Google Search to find V-belt Guys. Found the belts I needed and voila.
I will eventually need another belt for the A/C unit but like most car hobbyists, we need to watch our budgets and for now I need to get new parts for the car and my doctor just told me I need to get new hips for myself. At almost 70, maybe I am a bit more worn than the car. I may need a new belt for my pants as I recover from dual hip surgery soon. Does V-Guys sell size 38 waist?
