It lasted about an hour

The flipped on its side, something a v-belt should NOT, physically be able to do. After a short run. I took the cutting deck off, AGAIN. Took off the belt and put it back on AGAIN. Then ran again. All was good. Stared cutting grass. About 30 minutes in, I start smelling burnt rubber. I stopped, looked at the belt, which had flipped on its side and was partially melted. I ran it until it finally broke 20 or so minutes later.
