Well the first delivery of 1/2x83 belts resulted in a fit that drew in the idler roller in to far and the belt rubber its self and was destroyed shortly. The second shipment of 1/2 x 83 belts , so far the first just fine and seem OK.
Perhaps the profile is different and the depth of fit into the V pulllys is different resulting in what appears to be a short belt condition?
