The v-belts were used on my 33 year Craftsman garden tractor. I’ve used many belts over the years with most failing after a year or so. I wanted to try a Gates belt and see if they would hold up. I was in engineering and maintenance in a paper mill for 45 or so years and used many products and evaluated their performance and realized a commercial product was a best bet.
