Sorry to say that I was not able to use the belt as the MTD tractor uses a 7/8" wide belt and the 5/8" wide belt that was offered as a replacement runs to deep in the variable speed pully for proper control adjustment. The cost of return shipment compared to the cost of the belt makes it impractical to return. Allan
