This C53 belt is used on a Mott/Alamo SHD88 flail mower. On the second day of use I could hear the belt squealing when mowing not taller but thicker grass. I had been using Gates Hi Power II belts and never had slipping in fact it would bog the tractor engine and on occasion kill the motor. For half the price of Gates I wanted to give it a try. Like the old saying you get what you pay for.
